Girls drivers Ritu Narwale and Archana Katare have been educated for a month to drive the buses, an official mentioned, including that the system is predicted to ferry 2,000 commuters. 

Two pink buses solely for ladies commuters have been launched in Indore in Madhya Pradesh on Monday, coinciding with the 226th demise anniversary of Ahilyabai Holkar, ruler of the erstwhile Holkar dynasty right here.

The buses, which belong to state-run Atal Indore Metropolis Transport Companies Restricted and have been flagged off by Madhya Pradesh Tourism and Tradition Minister Usha Thakur, will run on a 11.5 kilometre stretch of the Bus Fast Transit System.
