A robust earthquake struck southern Mexico close to the resort of Acapulco on Tuesday evening, inflicting buildings to rock and sway in Mexico Metropolis practically 200 miles away.
The US Geological Survey mentioned the quake had a preliminary magnitude of seven.0 and was centred 8 kilometers east-southeast of Pueblo Madero in Guerrero state, about 48 kilometres inland from the resort metropolis.
There have been no rapid reviews from the quake zone.
In Mexico Metropolis, the bottom shook for practically a minute in some elements of the capital. There have been no early reviews of harm.
