Turkish health ministry official said Egyptian authorities have already given permission to set up these hospitals in al-Arish, 40 kilometers from the Rafah crossing.

The Rafah crossing has been the only exit route for the besieged Gaza Strip since Israel began its war on Gaza. The road has been opened at times for those injured in the Israeli bombardment in Gaza and limited aid has been brought in, this aid is very limited.

Doctors warned that hospitals in Gaza City were left with no facilities as hospitals were bombed by Israeli planes. Thousands of residents of northern Gaza flock to under-equipped hospitals surrounded by tanks and bombarded by Israeli planes, with no shelter, no medicine or food.

According to reports, injured people are on the streets because ambulances are unable to take them to hospitals, with Israeli aircraft bombing every move around the hospitals.

Since October 7, the Israeli army has launched a sustained offensive on the Gaza Strip, killing more than 11,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, in addition to destroying hospitals and various vital facilities.
